AceShowbiz - Finally, Kate Beckinsale is officially a single woman again. The "Underworld" actress and estranged husband Len Wiseman's divorce has been finalized, nearly four years after news of the exes' separation made headlines. TMZ broke the news.
The publication stated that the pair didn't have a prenup, though Kate asked in the divorce documents that she be allowed to keep her personal effects and jewelry in division of their assets, as well as her earnings following their legal separation. In addition to that, both the British beauty and Len waived any right to spousal support.
First meeting on the set of "Underworld", Len and Kate turned their friendship into something more and got engaged in June 2013, before tying the knot in May 2004. Later in November 2015, news broke that the two were separated, though both of them didn't take any steps to divorce until the "Total Recall" director filed paper works a year later. In the documents, he cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
Kate and Len don't have any children together, but the former is a mother to a teenage daughter named Lily whom she shares with actor Michael Sheen.
Following her split from Len, Kate briefly dated Pete Davidson after they were spotted getting cozy at a Golden Globes after-party earlier this year. She said of their relationship at the time, "I've never been in this position before never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It's all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it's not."
Kate and Pete broke in April, with a source alleging, "They're still friendly but are not on romantic terms."
