The "Lady Marmalade" rapper made public her relationship with a music mogul named The Great through a video that she posted on her Instagram account over the weekend.
In the video, which was filmed by her boyfriend, Kim was seen returning from work when The Great asked her to come and check out the gift that he had prepared for him. The Bronx rapper was undeniably emotional after receiving the gift, prompting her to crouch down as she was overwhelmed with emotion. The short clip ended with Kim jumping onto the bed to give her boyfriend a hug.
She wrote in the caption of the video, "Thank you baby it's beautiful."
Seeing the video, many people were genuinely happy for Kim. "Love seeing you happy! You deserve it Kimmy!" one wrote. "That is a man who appreciate his woman stay happy my (heart emoji)," another said. Someone else gushed, "I just love to see you loved properly," with an individual writing, "Aww Kim, I'm happy for you Queen. You deserve it. I love you."
It's unknown what The Great got for Kim, though many social media users said that it was a necklace adorned with a picture of her dad. Should it be true, that explained why Kim was so emotional after opening up the gift. After all, she recently mourned the death of her dad. "On this very day I found out my Daddy passed away," she said. "I was so distraught and had to put on a brave face and keep working because I had a show that same night."
Expressing her gratitude for Trina for comforting her in the dressing room, she continued, "It's as if her Mom and my Dad brought us together and healed our friendship. We both have angels watching over us."
