AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans recently made a big decision in her life as she announced she filed for divorce from husband David Eason. While the news is shocking for most people, a source claims that the split is "a long time coming."
Talking to Us Weekly, the insider adds that the former "Teen Mom 2" stars have always been in a rocky relationship. "Things have been bad even when they good on the surface," says the source.
"David was on his best behavior during court and when he had to clean up and prove himself in order to get custody of the kids back," continues the source. However, it doesn't last long since "once it was over he was right back to his old self."
Jenelle announced her split from David on Thursday, October 31. "With time away from 'Teen Mom', I've started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I'm starting that now," the 27-year-old former MTV star wrote on Instagram. "The kids and I have moved away from David."
"Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that's what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I've filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together, but you'll hear from us again soon," she continued.
Jenelle and David tied the knot in September 2017. Her marriage to Eason was full of drama. In 2018, Eason landed in hot water over his past homophobic comments on social media. The pair share 2-year-old daughter Ensley. She also has two sons from her previous relationships.
