AceShowbiz - Jay-Z will host the inaugural Shawn Carter Foundation Gala to support students in need.
The first-ever Black Tie Gala for the rapper's charity will also feature a performance by Alicia Keys and a special High Roller Blackjack Tournament, in which Meek Mill is expected to compete in.
"Equipping our youth with the tools to succeed will always be a priority for me and my family," Jay-Z said in a statement to Billboard. "I'm looking forward to continuing that mission at this year's Shawn Carter Foundation Gala Weekend, where we'll celebrate our scholars and continue to support young people in a meaningful way."
The event will take place in Hollywood, Florida over the weekend of November 15 and 16, with Rihanna and Jay-Z's wife Beyonce Knowles among the guests expected to attend.
Jay-Z established the Shawn Carter Foundation with his mother Gloria in 2003. All proceeds from the gala will benefit a scholarship fund, study abroad opportunities, college preparatory workshops, tours and local goodwill projects that cater to the less fortunate.
