It all starts after the Australian rapper tells one fan who is hoping for their collaboration that she once sent the Hot Girl Summer a song that they could work on together.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion and Iggy Azalea recently sparked rumors that they are beefing. It all started after the Australian beauty claimed on Twitter on Friday, October 18 that she once sent a song to the Hot Girl Summer and asked if they could collaborate on the track. However, Megan allegedly never gave her a response.

When a fan urged Iggy to release a collaboration with Megan, the former responded, "Funnily enough, I sent her H*emita and asked her to before my album dropped! Maybe one day! Love meg." This prompted the said fan to ask Megan why she opted out from collaborating with the rapper when she had the chance. In response, the 24-year-old said, "Iggy ain't send me no songs when she had my number or personal email back then lol idk who she sent a song to now love Iggy tho."

Reading their tweets, many people were convinced that the two rap stars were throwing shade at each other. "LMFAO they're killing me with 'love … Though,' " one wrote, with another chiming in, "Like seriously love when it's shade being exchanged." Someone else commented, "I'm getting the shade from the both idk how to take it."

However, before things got out of proportion, Iggy quickly clarified her statement and revealed that she actually sent the song to Megan's manager, "who said you wouldn't have time to get into the studio." The "Fancy" hitmaker added, "Which I was fine with! No hate, I thought your manger would have PLAYED the records."

Megan Thee Stallion and Iggy Azalea assure they aren't beefing.

Megan then responded back and assured she knew that Iggy didn't mean no harm in her tweet. "I'm saying you did NOT send records to ME so I never heard the records. It's a case of miscommunication," the "Big Ole Freak" rapper wrote on the micro-blogging site. "Your fans not about to make me internet beef with you about a song I ain't know about."
