'May We All', which is set to have its official premiere in Nashville in 2021, will feature tracks by the likes of Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain and Dixie Chicks among others.

AceShowbiz - Florida Georgia Line star Brian Kelley is developing a new country musical, titled "May We All".

The stage production will feature hits from his band, in addition to tracks by Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash.

According to a press release, the show centres on a "disappearing small-town America as seen through the hopeful eyes of its youth," and follows a young country singer who "reluctantly comes home after a rough start in Nashville, ultimately to discover that her roots may take her a lot further than her dreams."

A developmental production of "May We All" is scheduled to hit the stage at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, Tennessee in 2020, ahead of an official premiere in Nashville in 2021.

"I love building, love creating, love being surrounded by an amazing team, and have found endless inspiration in the fact that I can use my voice in any interest that I have," producer Kelley says. "I couldn't be more thrilled to have this musical feature the songs of so many of my buddies and artists who've inspired me. I can't wait to bring this project to the stage and beyond."

Former Broadway actor Troy Britton Johnson is set to star.
