Director Robert Eggers has been successful in bringing the 'True Blood' actor into the cast ensemble of the Icelandic drama which will reunite him with his 'Big Little Lies' co-star Nicole Kidman.

AceShowbiz - Scandinavian stars Alexander Skarsgard and Bill Skarsgard are returning to their Viking ancestry for 10th century Icelandic drama "The Northman".
The brothers have signed on to star in the project, which will reunite Alexander with his "Big Little Lies" wife Nicole Kidman.
Robert Eggers will direct the drama from a screenplay he has co-written with Icelandic poet and author Sjon.
The filmmaker has also cast his "The Lighthouse" star Willem Dafoe, as well as Anya Taylor-Joy, who starred in his acclaimed horror film "The Witch".
