'Each season will showcase historical moments in hip-hop culture and revolve around a different music icon, sports hero, infamous drug organization,' a statement reads about the planned project.

AceShowbiz - There seems to be truth in previous rumors which said that 50 Cent is working on a Tekashi69 (6ix9ine) biopic. According to a new report, the "Power" executive producer is producing a docuseries of the Brooklyn rapper on a series titled "A Moment in Time".

TMZ reports that the planned docuseries will feature six to eight hour-long episodes. It is set to detail the rise and fall of the "FEFE" rapper from the start of his music career to his downfall after people labeled him as a snitch for cooperating with federal authorities as he was convicted of their crimes including racketeering conspiracy and kidnapping.

"Each season will showcase historical moments in hip-hop culture and revolve around a different music icon, sports hero, infamous drug organization," a statement reads. Other stars who will be the subject of the project also include Snoop Dogg, who underwent a murder trial at the peak of his fame in the 1990s, and producer Scott Storch who sent 50, Beyonce Knowles, Fat Joe and Christina Aguilera among others to a stardom before going in a spiral of drug abuse.

The docuseries is also set to chronicle 50 himself. The "In Da Club" hitmaker infamously tangled with former music executive Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond in 2007 which claimed the life of 50's associate Lowell "Lodi Mack" Fletcher. This got Rosemond serving two life sentences for ordering Fletcher's death and a drug-trafficking case.

In addition, "A Moment in Time" will feature stories about former NBA player Rafer Alston, who encountered legal trouble during his stint playing for the Houston Rockets. The docuseries will be produced by his production company G-Unit Film & Television, eyeing a 2020 premiere.

Reports of 50 Cent trying to cash in on 6ix9ine's life story emerged earlier this month. When touting his upcoming ABC series "For Life" on Instagram, a follower asked him if there was any truth to the rumor about him buying the rights to a movie about the "Gummo" rapper. Not denying or confirming the report, 50 responded to the fan's question, "I'm working boy."

Catching words about a potential 6ix9ine biopic, ScHoolboy Q didn't miss a beat to campaign for a role in the upcoming movie while dissing 6ix9ine. "THe 6 9 movie gone be crazy... I Hope I get a role in it. I just wanna play one of tHe snitcHes," he tweeted. Adding in another post, the "Man of the Year" hitmaker wrote, "I can def get away wit playing 6 9 on da B.E.T Version.. I'm all in."
