During her appearance on 'The Wendy Williams Show', Nicole shares that she apologizes to 'my family, [Lela's] family. I made a mistake. I'm woman enough to admit [that] it was a mistake.'

AceShowbiz - Nicole Murphy has some regrets after kissing married director Antoine Fuqua. When stopping by "The Wendy Williams Show" on Tuesday, September 24, the 51-year-old actress/model talked about her steamy poolside smooch with the husband of Lela Rochon back in July while in Italy for a film festival.

"It was a frozen-in-time pic," Nicole told Wendy. "Trust me, Wendy, I wish it didn't happen. It was a moment where I should've thought more through the situation. Made better judgments. It's something that I apologized for."

When Wendy assumed that they woke up together, Nicole was quick to shut it down. "No, it did not. First of all, I was at the pool. We were on a different time zone. I was having a hard time staying awake. I was drinking an espressson, that's it," she explained. "It was a moment that should not have happened. I regret it. I apologized for it. I'm a human being, it was a mistake."

Later, Nicole added that this kind of thing could happen to anybody else. "Basically women, this could happen to you. Do your research. Very much so, do your research, you know. It happened," she said to the audience. Wendy, looking deadpanned, responded, "No. I mean, people don't kiss their family friends like that, though." Nicole then said, "It's not the case. I did not release that statement, Wendy."

When asked if she knows Lela, Nicole replied, "I, as by passing. If I see her somewhere, it's like, 'Hey.' I don't know her like that. Listen, let me tell you about social media. Social media had it to where were were family friends, I was at her wedding, in her wedding, kicking it at their house. It's not true. None of that is true. I don't know her like that. It's not like that."

"At the moment, maybe I had a different impression of the situation," she said as they showed another photo of her kissing Antoine. Nicole also said that she never slept with LisaRaye McCoy's ex-husband Michael Misick.

Nicole went on saying that she apologized to "my family, [Lela's] family. I made a mistake. I'm woman enough to admit [that] it was a mistake." After Wendy asked her to send a message to Lela, who was probably watching, Nicole said to the camera, "Oh, Lela, darling. It was a mistake. I apologized."

"Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired. It was not my intention to be in this situation," Nicole released a statement shortly after the paparazzi pics were released. "I do not condone women kissing or interacting in any way inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married, and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written."
