The 'Night at the Museum' movies actor and his estranged wife looked happy as they hit the red carpet of the Sunday, September 22 event together after announcing their split in 2017.

AceShowbiz - Ben Stiller may have been single for a while now, but he didn't came solo to the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. The actor/comedian was accompanied by none other than his ex Christine Taylor to the Sunday, September 22 event.

The pair were beaming as they hit the red carpet, which was actually purple, outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. They were more than willing to pose together for photographs, looking very happy and were all smiles in front of cameras.

Ben suited up in a classic black-and-white outfit, while Christine bared cleavage in a gray gown with beaded detailing. Her long blonde hair was styled in waves and side-swept. The two were also seen sitting next to each other inside the venue.

Ben has not confirmed if he and his estranged wife have rekindled their romance following their Emmys appearance. This isn't the first time they have been seen together, though. Back in April, the 53-year-old star and the 48-year-old actress were photographed with their kids at the "Pretty Woman: The Musical" on Broadway in New York City. The family posed backstage with the show's star Andy Karl and Andy's wife/co-star Orfeh.

"It was a sweet family night out," an eyewitnes told PEOPLE at the time. "The kids were glowing because they all love the theater, and Ben and Christine looked happy together, smiling and laughing and holding hands, especially during intermission. They seemed to really love the show and being around one another."

Ben and Christine tied the knot in May 2000 and have two children together, Ella and Quinlin. They announced their separation in May 2017. "With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time," they said in a joint statement.
