When Shannon and Shannade Clermont ask the 'Old Town Road' hitmaker to let them 'sit on' him, it appears he likes the idea as he writes in response, 'When.'

AceShowbiz - Is Lil Nas X gay or not? The rapper, who made headlines for coming out as gay earlier this year, now had a lot of people doubting his sexual orientation after he exchanged flirty comments with Internet personalities Shannon and Shannade Clermont.

It all started after Nas shared on Instagram over the weekend a couple of pictures of him hanging out by the pool in multicolored patterned shorts and aviators. Captioning the image that saw him lounging on a pool bed, he simply left a splashing sweat emoji. His post attracted the attention of the twins, who wrote in the comment, "Let me sit on it." Seemingly liking the idea, the "Old Town Road" hitmaker said in response, "When."

Their interaction successfully sparked chatter among social media users, with many wondering if Nas is really gay or not. "Looks like he is not gay," one wrote. Another said, "I don't think he's gay. I think he's straight. He is using the LGBTQ community for clout which is not gonna end well for him. He's definitely using the gays."

"I don't BELIEVE he's gay I think he used that for marketing however a lot was going on with the ABC community," someone else echoed. There were also others who speculated that he might be bisexual, while some individuals joked that Shannon and Shannade are men then. "I think that's what you call a three way circus, clowns going to old town rode," one person slammed him.

As of now, Nas has yet to respond to the accusation.

Nas came out as gay towards the end of Pride Month and recently revealed in a new interview why he couldn't hide his sexual orientation any longer. "It's not like I was being forced. It's just like knowing growing up, I'm growing up to hate this s**t... Homosexuality, gay people...," he said. "If, for me, the cool dude with the song on top of everything, to say this at any other time, I'm doing this for attention... But if you're doing this while you're at the top, you know it's for real."

He continued, "It's showing it doesn't really matter, I guess."
