'Far Away Places', which proceeds will be donated to The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, is one of the last tracks that the Soundgarden frontman recorded before his death.

AceShowbiz - A track late rocker Chris Cornell produced for his daughter when she was 12 has been released to raise money for a kids' charity.

The song, "Far Away Places", which his daughter Toni Cornell wrote, was one of the last things the Soundgarden rocker recorded before his death in May, 2017.

It also appears on the soundtrack to filmmaker Tatiana Shanks' short, also called "Far Away Places."

The tune was released via iTunes on Thursday, September 19, and proceeds from sales will be donated to The New York Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
