The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star gives fans a clear look at the red blemishes beneath her eyes, on her cheek and her chin as she gets candid about her psoriasis journey.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian always shows a perfect appearance whenever and wherever she goes, but in a recent update posted on Kourtney Kardashian's Poosh website, the KKW Beauty founder got real about her struggles with psoriasis. She even posted a makeup-free photo that gave fans a clear look at the red blemishes beneath her eyes, on her cheek and her chin.

Getting candid about the disease that she had been dealing with for years, Kim recalled the time when her first psoriasis flare up. "I got a common cold, and since psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, this triggered it. It was all over my stomach and legs," she recalled, explaining that her next door doctor helped her make the psoriasis completely go away for about five years.

She went on sharing about how her disease subsided during her two pregnancies, but it got extremely bad this year. Recounting the excruciating pain she endured in her joint and her frustration when her creams weren't working, Kim said that she finally came to the point where she got "comfortable" with her psoriasis. "If you have psoriasis, you can't let it ruin your life or get the best of you. You have to do what you can to make sure you are comfortable but not let it take over," she noted.

Attached on the post were several other photos of her psoriasis that got on her legs and arms.

Kim has since been praised for getting real about her journey with the disease. "Respect. Thank you for being open and vulnerable you are inspiring millions of patients who suffer in silence," a fan wrote, as another simply said that she's "proud" of Kim for what she just did. "This is the Kim I like to see! More than just makeup filters," someone gushed over the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star.

"Has never looked more gorgeous and REAL," one other raved over her beauty, while an individual wondered how could Kim cover her disease perfectly with makeup. "You are so gorgeous. I love that you shared this photo to show others it's OK not to be 'perfect', I'm sure this honest picture helped a lot of people feel relieved today. I know it made me feel better," one person commented.
