Though finding the separation hard, the 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker credits her longtime boyfriend, Gerard Pique, for supporting her and being very involved in parenting.

AceShowbiz - Shakira has confessed she often gets so busy she doesn't see her kids for weeks.
The pop superstar tells Hola! magazine she has gone "more than a month without seeing her sons" she shares with partner Gerard Pique, and it's always tough when she's touring and her man and the kids stay behind in Spain.
"Sometimes it's very hard when you cannot see your sons for a month or even more," she said. "But we call each other via FaceTime, so we are in constant communication. That helps."
And the "Hips Don't Lie" singer admits her partner is great - and that helps when she's away from her family.
"We don't have a written deal to share the tasks or anything like that, but we both are very involved in parenting and try to sort it out the best we can," she explains. "We support each other and we also find a huge help in our families. We don't know a different way to do it."
