AceShowbiz - Kiefer Sutherland and Boyd Holbrook are set to star in a new take on cult 1960s TV action series "The Fugitive".

The project will reunite Kiefer with "24" director Stephen Hopkins, who has been tapped to oversee the new series.

Written by "Scorpion" creator Santora, "The Fugitive" revolves around Holbrook's character, who finds himself at the centre of a bomb attack on the Los Angeles subway system.

Sutherland will play the top cop on his trail.

"The Fugitive" was also turned into a hit 1993 movie, starring Harrison Ford.
