AceShowbiz - Sophie Turner is following up her "Game of Thrones" success with a new TV series role.

The "Dark Phoenix" actress will appear opposite Corey Hawkins in drama "Survive", which will debut on short-form streaming platform Quibi.

Based on the novel by Alex Morel, the project will follow two survivors of a plane crash, who must brave dangerous conditions as they make their way through a wilderness to safety.

"I couldn't be more honoured to portray the role of Jane in 'Survive' for Quibi," said Turner in a statement. "She's a complex character fighting against the odds to not only save her life, but to also find her own source of strength and courage."

"I only hope this can impact anyone struggling with self-worth to understand they are braver than they know and to seek the support they need."
