Keen to double their $6 million pledge for the recovery of the storm-affected Bahamas, the 'SexyBack' hitmaker and the pro-golfer set up an online support page called the ONE Bahamas Fund.

AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake and golfer Tiger Woods have joined forces to raise funds for the Hurricane Dorian relief effort.

The two friends have set up an online support page to help generate donations for those worst affected by last week's, September 06, monster storm in the Bahamas, and with the support of bosses at the Royal Bank of Canada and several other organisations, they have created the ONE Bahamas Fund.

"As a strong believer in philanthropy and teamwork, I'm excited to partner with my friends @jtimberlake, #NEXUSLuxuryCollection, @rbc and @albanybahamas to establish the ONE Bahamas Fund in support of Hurricane Dorian relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts," Woods tweeted on Thursday, September 12.

The sportsman, Timberlake and their partners have already pledged $6 million (£4.8 million), and they are keen to double that amount.

Michael Jordan, director Tyler Perry and rapper Ludacris have also contributed funds to charities aiding those affected by the hurricane, which claimed the lives of at least 50 people.
