During a chat with Billy Bush for 'Extra', the former '30 Rock' star insists that he never punched a photographer in his life and stresses that he was always provoked to an altercation.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin hates the misconception people have that he goes around punching photographers.
The 61-year-old actor has built up something of a reputation for not getting along with the paparazzi over the years, with incidents such as him losing his cool when photographers invade his personal space doing little to dispel that image.
However, Alec insisted that despite the rumours, he's never actually hit a paparazzo.
Asked during a chat with Billy Bush for U.S. TV show "Extra" what annoys him, Alec replied: "I always get upset when people tell me that I punch photographers. I never punched a photographer in my life! Never punched a photographer, but I always say... All my altercations with people like that, not one of them was unprovoked."
"If a guy has got a lens, if he's got a camera, and he's across the street... I don't run across the street and go, 'Hey, you,' you know -- I don't bother them. It's when the guy almost chips my wife's teeth with the lens because he's (so) close, and he's going, 'Excuse me, do you have a comment?' "
