AceShowbiz - Actress Camila Mendes was sexually assaulted at college after a fellow student drugged her drink.

The "Riverdale" star has opened up about her awful experience, explaining it took place while she was studying at New York University's Tisch School.

Tearing up, the 25-year-old tells Women's Health magazine, "I had a very, very bad experience. I was roofied by someone who sexually assaulted me."

The incident inspired her to get a tattoo, which reads, "to build a home," on her rib cage and she admits the skin art helps her avoid unsafe and tough situations today.

"Whenever I feel like I'm going through something difficult, I think about what I can do physically for myself," she shares.
