It's reported that the 'On the Floor' hitmaker is 'ready to put on a show with some amazing guests and basically put on the best show that anyone has ever seen.'

AceShowbiz - People may be treated to Jennifer Lopez's headlining set when they turn to watch the Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida next year. It is reported that the Bronx diva is really close to sign a deal with NFL to headline its most-anticipated halftime show.

HollywoodLife.com reports that J.Lo is "excited to be in very serious talk to do the Super Bowl halftime show. The deal is extremely close to being done." An insider tells the gossip site, "She's very excited at the thought of it all and knows she'd absolutely kill it and already is talking ideas on the show itself."

A second insider notes that J.Lo has always wanted to do the halftime show, but her busy schedules have always prevented her from doing so. "But now everything is coming about and all together for this year to be the time for it to happen," so the source says, adding that the "Hustlers" star "is ready to put on a show with some amazing guests and basically put on the best show that anyone has ever seen."

Ever since it's revealed that the 2020 Super Bowl will be taking place in Miami, J.Lo's name is among the top three choices to headline the halftime show beside Shakira and Rihanna. The "On the Floor" singer herself has said in a previous interview that she'd do the show if asked and that she'd try to go about it in a way that sends an important message. She also said that she wants Cardi B to join her onstage.

The upcoming halftime show will be produced by Jay-Z, who previously said that the next headliner should "at least speak to the community. Speak to the guys that's on the ground organizing things and trying to make things better, in that sort of way."

Super Bowl LIV is set to take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
