AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle is facing another criticism, and this time it is regarding her action towards best friend Serena Williams. The Duchess of Sussex flew all the way to New York to watch Serena's match at the U.S. Open final against Bianca Andreescu. Unfortunately, Serena's fans had to leave the field disappointed as the tennis star was beaten by her Canadian opponent.

In the big match, Serena lost with the score 6-3, 7-5. Following the lost, tennis fans appeared to blame it all on Meghan. They suggested that the wife of Prince Harry should have just stayed home since she had been at most of the matches in which Serena failed to defend her title, including when Serena lost to Simona Halep at the Wimbledon final and to Angelique Kerber at SW19 last year.

"Dear Meghan Markle please stop attending Serena's finals matches. You are a jinx. Signed fans who are not her friends," one fan wrote on Twitter. "Meghan. Duchess. Love you so much. Really do. Are you a jinx though? Has she been at most of the losses?" another comment read.

"She always loses when Meghan shows up. I like her but she's bad luck for Serena. She should stay away," one other added. "Meghan Markle - I love you girl but you need to leave. I feel like you are bad luck for Serena," one fan tweeted, while someone else said that "too much distraction for Serena" and eventually led to Serena failing to win her 24th Grand Slam final.

"She always loses when Meghan shows up. I like her but she's bad luck for Serena. She should stay away," one blasted the mom of one. "Meghan is a Jinx!! It happened when she showed up in Wimbledon and now at the U.S. Open," someone else added.

However, some others jumped into Meghan's defense. "Presence of a person does not determine the results, the hard work of the player does! Meghan went there to support her friend, Serena did not lose because of her!" one person added. It should also be noted that the former "Suits" actress watched Serena win at Wimbledon back in 2016.
