Shooting down speculations of bad blood, the 'Sober' singer takes to social media to remind others that 'life's too short for women not to support other women.'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato has shot down reports of a feud between herself and Taylor Swift by gushing about the singer's new album.

The "Cool For the Summer" singer made it clear she was backing her music boss Scooter Braun in his ongoing spat with Swift, which escalated recently when he bought up the masters from her first six albums in a deal with Taylor's former label, Big Machine Records.

Taylor called Braun a "bully" and stated his label acquisition was her "worst case scenario", prompting Demi to insist her old pal had Scooter all wrong, writing: "I have dealt with bad people in this industry and Scooter is not one of them. He's a good man."

This led to speculation that Demi and Taylor were feuding and when Lovato skipped last month's (August 2019) MTV Video Music Awards, which Swift opened, many fans suggested the former friends had really fallen out.

But Demi kicked off America's Labor Day on Monday, September 2 by making it clear there's no bad blood between herself and Taylor.

In a post on her Instagram Story, she wrote: "Life's too short for women not to support other women... especially when women release great music."

Swift responded to the post, writing: "This is so awesome & put the biggest smile on my face."
