AceShowbiz - Katy Perry has recruited her pet dog Nugget to star in her new music video for the single "Small Talk".
The pop star plays a devoted puppy lover, who falls in love with a fellow dog show contestant in the quirky promo, which debuted on Friday, August 30.
Although the lyrics are all about tough times around an ex-boyfriend, the video is all about Nugget becoming jealous of her owner's new man.
The "Roar" singer wears a series of colourful outfits as she competes for the top prize at the Mutt Ball which is set in the 1950s.
Perry adopted Nugget several years ago.
