Noting that she understands why the Trinidadian rapper reacts that way, the 'All the Way Up' spitter says she can relate to her and adds, 'It's upsetting, it makes you angry.'

AceShowbiz - This is surely unexpected. Following Nicki Minaj's confrontation with Joe Budden in a recent episode of "Queen Radio" show, Remy Ma has surprisingly come to the Trinidadian beauty's defense and noted that she understood why Nicki reacted that way.

In the Monday, August 19 episode of "State of the Culture", the "All the Way Up" rapper confessed that she would have reacted the same way had she been in the Young Money artist's position. "Well it's her show and if I can get somebody that's been pissing me off for the past couple of years to sit there and tell them to shut the f**k up and make sure that they are shutting the f**k up, and turning their f***ing mic off and black on them and nothing is going to happen … I'mma wild on you," she said.

She continued, "I got some of the things she was saying. Because I know how that feels," before adding, "To feel like people that was supposed to be your friends or people you thought was cool with you, and then they say some left-field s**t. You be like, damn I thought we was alright. It's upsetting, it makes you angry. It makes you want to come for them. I know how that feels."

Her remarks were undeniably surprising to hear, especially since Nicki and her had been beefing for quite a long time. Their feud started in 2007, after Nicki appeared to take a shot at Remy on "Dirty Money". After that, they started taking jabs at each other through diss songs.

Nicki and Joe's confrontation itself happened last week, when the former called out the rapper-turned-podcast hot over his involvement in spreading "false narratives" about her. Their conversation just kept going south after that, with Joe accusing Nicki of being on drugs. "Are you that f***ing dumb?" she responded. "You like tearing down women when they can't defend themselves."

His microphone was then cut off.
