AceShowbiz - Kevin Smith has signed on to executive produce a limited "Masters of the Universe" series for streaming service Netflix.

"Masters of the Universe: Revelations" will pick up from where the 1982 TV series about superhero He-Man left off. Smith will also write the series and serve as the showrunner.

"Brought to life with the most metal character designs (animators at) Powerhouse Animation can contain in the frame, this is the Masters of the Universe story you always wanted to see as a kid!"
