While some followers still sound bitter over the scandal, some others send her positive vibes and warmly welcome her on the photo-sharing site as one says, 'Welcome back sis you've been missed.'

AceShowbiz - Nicole Murphy has made a social media return. She posted a new photo after she'd been MIA for months amid scandal surrounding her for kissing married film director Antoine Fuqua during their vacation in Italy. The model took to her Instagram account on Thursday, August 15 to a share a new selfie.

In her latest post, the ex-wife of comedian Eddie Murphy expressed her love for her mom. Alongside a photo of her and her mom who was walking at her side, Nicole wrote, "Mom [emoji hearts]."

While the post was innocent, people in the comment section seemingly were still bitter and hadn't been moved on from the kissing scandal despite her denying the alleged romance between her and Antoin, who is still married to Lela Rochon. "Not judging.....But move on repent and pray not to kiss another married man...God Bless," said one follower. "Glad you back missed ya but that kiss," added another.

Other followers, however, sent her positive vibes and warmly welcomed her on the photo-sharing site. "Welcome back sis you've been missed.. sending positive vibes only," one person wrote. "Sis was M.I.A! she said let me wait for it to all blow over...lmaooo Came out Winning because her mommy pic...congratulations," one other comment read.

Nicole's last update was on July 22, before photos of her locking lips with Antoine hit the web. Following the backlash over the alleged affair, Nicole denied rumors of them dating. "Antoine and I are just family friends. I ran into him in Italy and we exchanged a friendly hello and that was it," she stressed.

She later issued an apology for kissing Antoine twice, on a patio at the Regina Isabella Hotel in Ischia, Italy and on poolside sunbeds. "Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired," she said in the statement. "It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written."
