Michael Gargiulo, who is referred to as the Hollywood Ripper, will upon conviction be determined if he was sane when he killed Ashley Ellerin and another woman in 2001.

AceShowbiz - The man who stabbed and killed Ashton Kutcher's friend, Ashley Ellerin, has been found guilty of two counts of first degree murder.
Lawmakers will now determine if Michael Gargiulo, aka the Hollywood Ripper, was sane when he killed two women in 2001.
Kutcher testified in May, and revealed Ashley was supposed to be his date to a Grammys party in 2001, but she never showed.
He recalled visiting Ashley's home and spying what he thought was spilled red wine on the floor through a window when she didn't come to the door.
Ellerin's body was found in the house the next morning. She had been stabbed over 47 times.
Gargiulo is also facing murder charges in Illinois.
