A cardiologist for Lenox Hill Hospital claims the Bauhaus frontman rocker remains in the hospital for continued monitoring of his condition, while Le Poisson Rouge bosses wish him a swift recovery.

AceShowbiz - Bauhaus star Peter Murphy has postponed a string of concerts in New York City after suffering a heart attack.
The "Bela Lugosi's Dead" singer was taken to the hospital on Tuesday night (August 13) with respiratory issues, and doctors determined he was suffering a myocardial infarction.
A statement from bosses at Le Poisson Rouge, where Murphy was scheduled to perform on August 15, 16, 18 and 19, reads, "All of us at LPR are devastated by this news. Peter's performance and presence over the past 12 days has been amazing - both onstage and off. We wish Peter a swift and full recovery and look forward to his successful return to LPR."
Meanwhile, Lenox Hill Hospital cardiologist Jason Song - who treated the goth icon, says, "He had two stents placed in his right coronary artery and was started on medications to manage his heart condition... He is still in the hospital for continued monitoring of his condition."
The four shows will be postponed to later dates to be determined.
Meanwhile, a statement from Murphy's family reads, "We would like to thank the fans for their undying support and hope that Peter will be back on stage with a refreshed heart, stronger than before!"
