Having twisted his ankle during a rehearsal, Joey Kramer has to be replaced by drum technician John Douglas for both August 8 and August 10 shows at the MGM National Harbor.

AceShowbiz - Aerosmith played a second show in Maryland without drummer Joey Kramer on Saturday night (August 10), as he recovered from an ankle injury.

The rocker twisted his ankle during a rehearsal last week and also missed Thursday night's show at the MGM National Harbor, where frontman Steven Tyler tripped and stumbled.

The shows aren't the first time the band has performed without Kramer - his drum technician, John Douglas, filled in for him after Joey suffered a "minor accident" in April that resulted in a shoulder injury.

Douglas also stepped behind the kit for the band's Maryland shows.

And the drummer's son, Jesse, filled in for him back in 2014 as Kramer recovered from an angioplasty.

It is not clear if Kramer will be back for Aerosmith's third MGM National Harbor show on Tuesday (August 13).
