Fans have been trying to find clues and police are still searching for the 22-year-old YouTube star's whereabouts, three years after she was involved in a similar situation.

AceShowbiz - YouTube star Marina Joyce's whereabouts are one of the biggest mysteries that Twitter users are trying to solve now. The 22-year-old was reported missing from London on Wednesday, August 7 and she was last seen on July 31.

The Haringey Police of London took to its Twitter page to ask people's help to locate Marina. "Can you help to find Marina Joyce, 22, missing from #Haringey?" it tweeted. "Call 101 and quote 19MIS031063 with any info."

A spokesperson for the Met Police told Metro.co.uk that "enquiries are underway to try and locate her." Meanwhile, independent charity Missing People posted an online flyer, trying to reach out to Marina. "Marina we are here for you whenever you are ready; we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe," it read.

Marina last posted a video on her YouTube channel on June 21. In the video, she talked about her hair care system and promised that she would release another video a week later. But no new clip has been published as of now. She wrote her last social media comments on the night of June 24.

The hashtag #SaveMarinaJoyce began trending worldwide as fans have been scrambling on Twitter, searching for clues about her whereabouts.

Following the frenzy about her missing report, Marina's boyfriend and friends insist that she's fine. Her boyfriend Brandon Mehmed posted on Instagram on Friday, August 9, "This is temporary post to send a message to everyone worried for Marina." He assured everyone that "everything is being dealt with in a professional manner."

He added, "Please don't worry about her as she is safe and well (you have my word for that). Also everyone who thinks I'm action 'suspicious' are only misinformed and don't know me at all." However, police still cannot confirm this.

Marina was involved in a similar situation three years ago. Back in 2016, the YouTube personality sparked concern among fans after she was seen sporting bruises on her arms and back, and they noticed a swift in her on-screen behavior. This led to conspiracy theories, which ranged from Marina being held against her will to drug abuse. Authorities later conducted a welfare check and determined she was not in danger.

A year later, Marina explained her situation, saying that she was suffering from depression at the time of the incident. "It was so bad," she admitted "It hurts me to this day to think of all the reckless things I did that showed that I did not care about my life. Things that I would look back upon and feel so grateful that I am still alive. I lived in isolation of what happened to me, of people not understanding what I was truly going through."

"The bruises said it all, I'm glad you all noticed because I was going through a really rough time," she added. Marina credited the hashtag #SaveMarinaJoyce for motivating her to "get better" and stop making "horrible decisions." She said, "I feel so grateful for #SaveMarinaJoyce because it did actually save me."
