Niko Khale stays by the 'Let It Go' singer's side and holds her hand as she experiences labor contractions in the hospital in a photo he shares on Instagram Stories.

AceShowbiz - Keyshia Cole is just hours or minutes away from meeting her new son. The 37-year-old singer/actress has gone into labor as revealed by her boyfriend Niko "Khale" Hale in his new social media update via Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 1.
"IT'S TIME!!!" so the 23-year-old captioned a photo of his girlfriend lying in hospital bed. She flashed a grin, seemingly feeling the pain of labor contractions, while holding tight the hand of Niko, who stood by her side. He didn't seem to be nervous as he smiled while looking at Keyshia.
The baby will be the couple's first child together and Keyshia's second child. She already has a son, 9-year-old Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr., from her relationship with then-fiance and former NBA player Daniel Gibson. Keyshia and Daniel got married in May 2011 and renewed their vows in September of the same year in Hawaii. In March 2014, the "Enough of No Love" songstress confirmed she and Daniel had broken up, but they did not file for divorce yet until 2017.
Keyshia began dating Niko in 2018. In May of this year, she announced that she's expecting her child, a baby boy, with her boyfriend.
Ahead of her due date, Keyshia shared pictures from her Saturday (July 27) baby shower. "4 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!! Omg!!!!!!! I soooo ready to meet my little munchkin #2 FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAME OUT YESTERDAY AND I WANT TO SAY ............. THANK U SOOOO FOR COMING AND TRAVELING," she wrote in the caption.
She kept updating her fans about her feelings leading to the D-day, posting on Monday, July 29 along with more pictures from her baby shower, "COUNTDOWN THREE DAYS TO GO !!!#1 I'm so happy I got a chance to film this process and #2 to have been able to bring it back home to BET!! Where it all started!!!"
On Wednesday, she posted a picture of her family, including her boyfriend Niko, her son Daniel Jr. and their dog. "TOMORROW IS THE DAY OMG," she wrote in the caption. "We Will have ONE more to add to the BIG PICTURE ... FAMILY FIRST ... I'm nervous, But I.m ready!!!! It.s like CHRISTMAS, getting one of the GREATEST GIFTS OF ALL time! And I'm happy you'll all get to see SOOOOOOOON!!!!"
