The 'Lucid Dreams' hitmaker seeks to have his advance payment to be returned in full amount since he feels that his specific requirements for a rented home in Tarzana have been 'misrepresented.'

AceShowbiz - U.S. rapper Juice WRLD has filed a lawsuit against Los Angeles landlords, claiming they owe him over $50,000 (£39,771).

The 20-year-old singer was interested in renting a home in Tarzana, and had very specific requirements for the property.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Juice WRLD told the property owners the home would be occupied by musicians and therefore "needed to conform to certain specifications and dimensions".

The rapper insists he was "assured that the space, layout, and capacity of the House was fit for the particular purpose", so he paid the landlords $160,000 (£127,268) in advance to secure the rental.

However, after flying to Los Angeles to inspect the property, the "Lucid Dreams" hitmaker felt it had been "misrepresented" and announced he had no intention of moving in.

The documents claim the owners understood Juice WRLD's position and "assured him the full amount of the advanced deposit would be returned".

But they have since said they suffered damages by holding the property and for paying a commission to the leasing agent.

Juice WRLD claims the landlords are withholding $52,000 (£41,365) of his money and is seeking the return of his deposit in full, plus additional damages.
