The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star admits her waist-shrinking corset that she wore under her nude Thierry Mugler dress at this year's fundraising gala left 'indentations' on her back and stomach.

AceShowbiz - Just how far Kim Kardashian is willing to suffer for a flawless look? The reality TV star became the talk of the town with her impossibly tight waist when wearing a nude Thierry Mugler dress at the 2019 Met Gala last May, but she didn't achieve it without a great pain.
Speaking to WSJ magazine for a new interview, the mother of four gets candid about the agony of fitting into a waist-cinching corset under the custom silicone and silk dress. "I have never felt pain like that in my life," she admits.
In fact, the corset was so tight that it left marks on her torso after she took it off. The 38-year-old raven beauty shares, "I'll have to show you pictures of the aftermath when I took it off-the indentations on my back and my stomach."
Kim's tiny waist at the Met Gala sparked speculation that she had her ribs removed to squeeze into the corset, but that never occurred into Kim's mind to do such procedure. "I don't even know if that's possible," she claims.
Her trainer Melissa Alcantara also defended her after this year's annual fundraising gala, saying that Kim worked hard to achieve that shape. "Kim trains her a** off 6 days a f***ing week, she wakes up early AF and is dedicated," she wrote on Instagram Stories at the time.
Comparing her painful Met Gala corset to the pieces from her new shapewear line, Kim says, "The feeling when I had to wear that corset, (the shapewear) is not that." She adds of how comfortable her shapewear line is, "It's the second skin that makes me feel comfortable and cozy and all smoothed."
Kim recently faced backlash for naming the shapewear line Kimono Solutionwear, taken after traditional Japanese garment. She then promised to change the name, but hasn't announced the new name yet.
Admitting their misjudgment with the brand's name, the KKW Beauty founder says, "You would think we would have obviously thought it through a little bit deeper. I'm the first person to say, OK, of course, I can't believe we didn't think of this. I obviously had really innocent intentions. But, let's listen. And I want to really listen. And I want to really take it all in."
