During her performance at 2019 British Summer Time festival in London's Hyde Park, the 'Woman in Love' hitmaker tells the audience that she 'could have been the first Jewish princess.'

AceShowbiz - Barbra Streisand addressed rumours of a relationship with British royal Prince Charles during her performance at the 2019 Barclaycard presents British Summer Time festival in London's Hyde Park on Sunday night (July 07).

The pair first met on the set of her film "Funny Lady" in 1974 and were rumoured to have had an affair 20 years later, after bumping into each other again when the "Woman in Love" hitmaker performed for his Prince's Trust charity at London's Wembley Arena in 1994.

And during her gig over the weekend, the 77-year-old addressed the pair's rumoured tryst on several occasions, quipping, "If I had played my cards right, I could have been the first Jewish princess."

Barbra also flashed a newspaper cutting on screen which referenced Charles directly, with the headline reading, "Barbra charms her prince, Charles."

Before tying the knot with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall in 2005, Charles was previously married to the late Diana, Princess of Wales. The singer also spoke about meeting Princess Diana, recalling she was "so kind."

"After the performance, the protocol was for her to get up first but she pushed me up and made me get up first," she added.

Barbra also referenced Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex in her opening song, singing the amended lyric, "When the sun begins to sparkle, like that ring on Meghan Markle."

The concert also saw the "Evergreen" hitmaker team up with Kris Kristofferson to perform their "A Star Is Born" duet, "Lost Inside of You", live for the first time ever - 43 years after they starred in the 1976 version of the musical drama together.

The 2018 remake of the film was one of last year's highest grossing movies, with Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper taking on Barbra and Kris' respective roles.
