AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion has again defended her recently resurfaced homophobic tweets, insisting the posts "do not represent my views now".

The 24-year-old U.S. rapper addressed the tweets from 2011 and 2012 in several posts on Thursday, June 27, writing: "You going this far over a tweet from 2012 ? that obviously meant no harm coming from me in high school, you mfs (motherf**kers) are sick."

Megan, real name Megan Pete, allegedly referred to someone as a "lil f***ot" in one of the offensive tweets, which she also apologised for last year.

"I grew up and learned how to not be insensitive. I don't judge anyone I accept everyone as they are no matter their colour or sexual preference," she said at the time.

Megan has enjoyed huge success in recent months, after becoming the first female rapper to be signed by label 300 Entertainment in November (2018). She released her first full-length mixtape entitled "Fever in May", with singles on the record including "Big Ole Freak", "Sex Talk", and "Realer".
