Prior to this, 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' exec Andy Cohen was forced to explain himself after a fan shamed him for not sending condolence to Lisa in social media.

AceShowbiz - Denise Richards is setting the record straight. "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star hit back at fans who criticized her for not publicly sending condolence to co-star Lisa Vanderpump following her mother's death on Monday, June 17, in England.

The TV star explained to Twitter user, "I personally like to send condolences privately when it is someone I know." Fellow "RHOBH" star Dorit Kemsley appeared to aggree with Denise's tweet as she retweeted Richards' tweet and added the thumbs up emoji.

The fan whom Denise responded to later tweeted, "Wow got a taste of getting Twitter chewed out by other #RHOBH fans." That person added, "Conclusion of it all; I agree not everything has be done in public, it would've been nice to see (but not necessary). Mostly I was glad Camille and (especially) Brandi made an acknowledgement [sic]. That's all."

Andy Cohen previously was forced to explain himself after a fan shamed him for not sending condolence to Lisa. "Meanwhile @Andy is too busy tweeting about his world, and not a mention about LVP losing her mom Monday," a Twitter user named Cathy Keever tweeted on Thursday, June 20. "Shame on you Andy."

Andy was not having any of it, and wrote back to her, "Cathy we were in touch privately on Tuesday, but I appreciate your concern about how and when I sent my condolences."

The woman didn't seem to be satisfied with his answer. "Well you tweet about everybody else..I think your fans were just waiting to see compassionate Andy again," she replied to the TV personality. Fans, however, were backing up Andy as one of them said, "Maybe he wanted his condolences to be personal and private rather than public and out of concern for how the fans view him. Seems to be the perfect expression of compassion to me."
