Launching a lawsuit against the 'I Need a Doctor' rapper and his wife, Ines Cornejo and Diana Brenes claim that they were not given proper rest breaks and were never compensated for them.

AceShowbiz - Hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre is facing legal action from two former housekeepers over allegations of labour law violations.

Ines Cornejo and Diana Brenes have joined forces to sue "The Next Episode" hitmaker and his wife, Nicole Young, claiming they were forced to stick to a tight schedule, which often resulted in delayed or shortened meal breaks.

Cornejo, who worked as a laundress for the California-based couple for three years until September (18), also alleges she was not given proper rest breaks and was never compensated for them, as stipulated by law.

Similar accusations have been made by housekeeper and cook Brenes, who was employed by the pair for seven years until October, 2017.

In court papers obtained by The Blast, she alleges that whenever she would take a break to eat, she was often interrupted by either Dre or Nicole, who reportedly requested she "immediately resume cooking or cleaning".

The former staffmembers are suing for unspecified damages.

Dre and Nicole have yet to comment on the lawsuit, which comes days after the rap veteran placed second on Forbes magazine's annual Richest Rappers list, with an estimated fortune of $800 million (£633 million).
