GLAAD executives confirm that many of the 'Me!' hitmaker's devotees took part in the group's special Pride Month fundraiser after she released her new anthem, 'You Need To Calm Down'.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift's new anti-hate single has prompted a surge in donations to GLAAD after she name checked the LGBTQ organisation in her latest lyrics.
Executives at the group confirmed the overnight windfall after Taylor dropped her new anthem, "You Need to Calm Down", late on Thursday, June 13.
A longtime supporter of gay rights, she intentionally dropped the track in June, which marks Pride Month - a special time of celebration for LGBTQ people and their allies worldwide.
The track is an anti-hate song calling out those who bully people over their sexual persuasion, and includes the lyrics, "Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD?"
Staff at GLAAD recently launched a special Pride Month fundraiser to aid their advocacy, and set a $1,300 (1,030) goal as a tribute to Swift's favourite number, 13. According to TMZ, many of Swift's fans have indeed donated $13 (£10).
GLAAD executive Anthony Ramos added, "The fact she (Taylor) continues to use her platform and music to support the LGBTQ community and the Equality Act is a true sign of being an ally."
Ramos also thanked Swift for the "very generous" donation she made to GLAAD earlier this month.
