After hundreds of pictures taken by Alexi Lubomirski were stolen and leaked online, a royal insider claims that an internal investigation has been launched without involving police.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex's private wedding pictures have reportedly leaked online after their photographer was hacked.

Hundreds of pictures taken by aristocratic snapper Alexi Lubomirski during Harry and Meghan's nuptials in May last year (2018) were stolen when his computer was compromised, according to The Sun. Some have reportedly been leaked on Instagram.

A royal insider told the newspaper that there had breach of security, but that the situation had been dealt with.

"There was an online compromise," they explained. "Pictures were hacked then leaked. There was an internal investigation but police weren't involved. The situation has now been contained."

The Sun's editors report that the person responsible for the leak has not been discovered, but royal officials believe Alexi was hacked last September.

The couple, who are now parents to a one-month-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, released a trove of behind the scenes photographs from their wedding on Instagram to mark their one year anniversary last month (May 2019).

Polish aristocrat Alexi has also taken snaps for stars including Beyonce Knowles, Demi Moore, Natalie Portman and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Meghan made her first public appearance since giving birth to Archie on Saturday, June 08, joining most of the royal family to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's official birthday the Trooping of the Colour at Horse Guards Parade in London.
