Following Milwaukee-based radio station KISS-FM, KBLX has announced through a statement that it has officially decided to place a ban on any of the hip-hop superstar's songs.

AceShowbiz - Drake's intense love for Toronto Raptors has cost him his music career. Bay Area-based radio station KBLX has recently announced that it has placed a ban on any of the Canadian hip-hop superstar's songs until the end of NBA Finals as the station shows support to Raptors' opposing team Golden State Warriors.

Elroy Smith, the program director of KBLX, said in a statement that the ban is necessary for the Warriors to win, stressing that Drake's sidelines antics is the main reason for the ban. "(We) could not stand on the sidelines and accept Drake showing no love for our Golden State Warriors," he said. "It is my joy to cease and desist all of Drake's music on KBLX in support a team that is loved by the Bay Area and around the world."

Smith went on expressing his confidence that the Warriors would take home the NBA Championship trophy. "Oh yes, we are proclaiming a three-peat," he predicted.

KBLX is not the first radio station to ban Drake's music over NBA. Last month, Milwaukee-based radio station KISS-FM officially banned his songs until the Milwaukee Bucks-Raptors series ended. "He's representing the Raptors. We got to take it home with the Bucks," programming manager Steve Powers said at the time.

Drake has been getting so much media attention due to his courtside antics during the NBA Playoffs, resulting in Raptors receiving a warning to keep the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker under control. Despite the warning, he was caught taunting the Warriors players Stephen Curry (II) and Draymond Green during Game 1 of the NBA Finals on May 30.

Raptors is currently leading with 2-1 after winning Game 3 which took place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Wednesday night, June 5. Drake, unsurprisingly, took to Instagram Stories to celebrate the win, trolling another Warriors player Klay Thompson. Posting an image of a shirtless Klay with a slew of ladies, the rapper wrote, "Stay Golden my friends...goodnight."

Game 4 is scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 8.
