Legal representatives for the Migos rapper have failed to respond to Giovanni Arnold's lawsuit accusing the former of ordering his security guards to attack the latter at Met Gala afterparty.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Offset has had a default judgement issued against him after failing to respond to a lawsuit relating to an alleged fan beatdown last year (18).
The "Walk It Talk It" hitmaker was leaving a Met Gala afterparty at The Mark Hotel in New York in May 2018 with his then-pregnant wife Cardi B when they were approached by Giovanni Arnold, who tried to get close to the couple to obtain its autographs.
The hip-hop stars refused, and Offset was accused of ordering his security guards to attack Arnold, reportedly leaving him with face, neck, back, and body injuries.
Arnold sued both rappers for unspecified damages, prompting Cardi's lawyers to fire back at the allegations and demand the suit's dismissal, insisting she had nothing to do with the incident.
However, Offset's representatives appeared to ignore the legal action, and in April, Arnold requested a default judgement as a result of the lack of progress.
His motion has since been granted, meaning the Migos star will have to pay up, unless he appeals the ruling, reports TMZ.
It's not yet clear how much the lawsuit loss will cost Offset.
The case against Cardi is still ongoing.
