Scarlett Johansson is pictured on a lake holding a red object which is believed to be an Infinity Stone, and is seen filming a funeral scene in another photo.

AceShowbiz - New photos have leaked from the set of the heavily-guarded Marvel movie "Black Widow" and they spark a speculation that a fan-favorite hero is not dead. Despite her apparent demise in "Avengers: Endgame", some fans believe that one of the new set pics gives hope that Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow is resurrected and alive after events in the recent blockbuster movie.

The said photo sees Johansson walking into the water or emerging from a lake while holding a red object, which is believed to be an Infinity Stone. Judging from its color, it looks like the Reality Stone. Some people have been speculating that Captain America (Chris Evans) went back in time to resurrect Natasha with the Reality Stone, when he time travelled at the end of "Endgame".

In another photo taken from the set in Norway, Natasha appears to be attending a funeral. The actress was pictured walking across the graveyard while crew members were holding umbrellas to shield her and another woman, who appeared to her double, as she sported a similar hairstyle.

Johansson was also seen filming on a mountaintop. She seemed to be shooting an exercise scene, running while being covered by cameras on helicopters.

"Black Widow" began filming in Norway in May as Johansson was spotted on the island of Vigra in the village of Saebo. She was seen arriving in the town on a ferry. The island is believed to serve as the background for Black Widow's childhood, while the movie is reportedly filming under the working title "Blue Bayou".

Considering the character's fate in "Endgame", it has been widely believed that "Black Widow" would be a prequel. The latest set photo, however, gives fans hope that she would return from the dead.

"Black Widow" will focus on Johansson's Natasha Romanoff, a Russian spy and assassin who later defects to the United States and becomes an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Avenger. Cate Shortland is on board as director, with the script provided by Jac Schaeffer ("The Hustle"). Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz and David Harbour have been reported to join the cast. Disney reportedly eyes a 2020 release for the solo movie.
