Contrary to the 'Saturday Night Live' alum's claims that he was pressured to have sex with the director, her daughter Mollie recalls Amy and Chris embarked on a consensual romantic relationship.

AceShowbiz - Chris Kattan and Amy Heckerling indeed broke their professional boundary by getting intimate, but it wasn't at his expense as he recently claimed. In his new memoir "Baby Don't Hurt Me: Stories and Scars From Saturday Night Live", the comedian accuses "Saturday Night Live" creator and producer Lorne Michaels of pressuring him to have sex with the female director in exchange for a movie deal, but Amy's daughter Mollie Heckerling has disputed his claims.

On Wednesday, May 29, Mollie posted a lengthy statement on Twitter to defend her mother. Claiming her mother "has never in her life threatened or tried to sabotage anything she was working on," she said that she never saw Amy talking to Chris during pre-production of "A Night at the Roxburry". But during the production, Chris and Amy became close, with the former allegedly often calling every night to talk about "how he felt he wasn't getting the best sketches on 'SNL'."

Amy Heckerling's daughter responds to Chris Kattan's claims of being pressured to have sex with her mother.

Mollie said her mother and Chris started having an affair and the director broke off her engagement to then-fiance Bronson Pinchot, but she insisted that "it was consensual and fully his choice to get involved" with Amy. Mollie went on claiming that it's her mother who was suffering during the relationship, as she "spiraled into a massive eating disorder" because "she was insecure about their age difference, and then Chris ultimately went and cheated on her" with "Clueless" star Elisa Donovan.

Mollie Heckerling claims her mother and Chris embarked on consensual affair.

Denying Lorne's involvement in the alleged pair's romance, Mollie recalled the "SNL" boss told Chris, "What do you want to date her for? She's so old," when Chris told him that he and Amy were seeing each other.

"I feel for Chris's other struggles, and certainly don't want to delegitimize the importance of the #MeToo movement, but what Chris is saying sounds libelous," she added, before concluding that she "would be VERY interested to hear what Lorne Michael's has to say about all of this."

Mollie denies Lorne Michaels' involvement in Amy's relationship with Chris.

In an excerpt from his book that surfaced on Tuesday, Chris says that Amy was considering of backing out as director for the 1990s comedy film "A Night at the Roxbury" after he rejected her sexual advances. He claims that the next day a "furious" Lorne called him and told him that "Paramount would only do the movie if Amy signed on as a director, not as a producer." Chris recalls Lorne saying to him, "Chris, I'm not saying you have to f**k her, but it wouldn't hurt."

Chris says he and Amy later had sex on the couch in her office. The 48-year-old actor admits he "was attracted to Amy, but at the same time very afraid of the power she and Lorne wielded over my career." He says that he did not tell anyone about the incident, but it put a strain on his already fraying relationship with actress Jennifer Coolidge.

Amy eventually signed up as producer for the movie, with John Fortenberry directing the film.

A spokesperson for "SNL" has denied Chris' claims, saying, "This did not happen."
