The longtime couple finally tied the knot on Thursday, May 23 during an intimate ceremony at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, California. Their closest family and friends, including Adam Rippon, Kristi Yamaguchi and Emmitt Smith, were present to witness the couple exchange vows.
In a photo from the nuptials that was obtained by PEOPLE, the "Dancing with the Stars" pro looked glowing in an off-the-shoulder A-line gown that featured a sweetheart neckline and billowing bottom. She accessorized the look with a statement pearl necklace, dainty bracelets and a long tulle veil. Meanwhile, her actor husband looked dapper in a classic black-and-white tux.
Leah Remini served as Burke's maid of honor, with the couple allegedly crying during the ceremony. In addition to taking the special role, Remini threw the latter a bridal shower last month. Burke shared on Instagram a selfie of her and "The King of Queens" alum from the event, writing in the caption, "Words cannot fully express how thankful I am for you opening up your heart and gathering my family and friends today."
"I am overflowing with gratitude and appreciation," she continued. "The fact that you said yes to being my Matron of Honor was enough, but you wanting me to make everything perfect for me, means the world - I will never forget this special day as long as I live. The couple, who first met in 2006, initially broke up in 2008 after dating for about a year, but rekindled their relationship later in 2017. In the following year, they announced their engagement. He popped the question at the Montage Laguna Beach, presenting her with a ring that features the exact diamond that her late father gave her mother.
