AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex have celebrated their first wedding anniversary by sharing never-before-seen footage from their big day with fans online.

The happy couple became husband and wife on 19 May, 2018, and on Sunday, 19 May, royal representatives uploaded a slideshow to the Duke and Duchess' official Instagram page, featuring behind-the-scenes pictures from their nuptials at St. George's Chapel on the grounds of England's Windsor Castle.

The images begin with a candid black-and-white shot of the bride and groom beaming inside the chapel, as well as one of Prince Harry and his brother and best man, Prince William, smiling up at the camera while descending a flight of stairs.

Other pictures include Meghan holding the hand of her mother, Doria Ragland, and another of the former Suits actress being greeted by her new father-in-law, Prince Charles, as he steps up to escort her down the second half of the aisle.

There are also snaps of Harry and Meghan each signing the wedding register alongside the Archbishop of Canterbury, who presided over their nuptials, and one solitary shot of the groom appearing to read over his speech.

At the end of the photos, which are soundtracked by "This Little Light of Mine", which was performed as the ceremony's recessional song, a message from the Duke and Duchess read, "Thank you for making the memory of this day so special".

In the accompanying caption, their Instagram officials wrote, "We hope you enjoy reliving this moment, and seeing some behind the scenes photos from this special day".

It also included a few more words from Harry and Meghan, who added, "Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world. Each of you made this day even more meaningful".

The couple is celebrating its one-year wedding anniversary as first-time parents - son Archie Harrison was born in London on 6 May.
