After the 'In Da Club' hitmaker dropped the finale bomb on 'Strahan and Sara', creator Courtney A. Kemp confirms that some of the characters will get own shows 'beyond the scope of the initial series.'

AceShowbiz - 50 Cent's hit crime drama series "Power" is set to end after its upcoming sixth season.

The "In Da Club" star has featured in, and executive produced, the gritty show, created by Courtney A. Kemp, since its launch in 2014, but on Thursday, May 09, he announced it would be wrapping up after one more run.

The sixth and final season is set to premiere this August, but 50 insists fans won't be left hanging for long, as he and Courtney are developing four related shows based on the same characters from "Power".

"It's the final season of 'Power' but it's an extended season of 15 shows instead of 10," the rapper and actor shared on U.S. daytime show "Strahan & Sara."

"But there's so many stories to tell in the universe that we created, myself and Courtney Kemp, you're gonna see spin-off shows.

"I'm executive producing and you'll see... some more life from the actual characters built from 'Power'."

Further details about the spin-off series have yet to be announced, but in a statement, Kemp added: "We will follow some of your beloved 'Power' characters beyond the scope of the initial series. But we will play with your expectations of which characters, where, and the master timeline of it all, creating a 'Power' universe as unpredictable as the original."
