It arrives after reports of Jenelle begging MTV to let her film with co-star Briana DeJesus in Florida, though the network allegedly shuts down her idea and refuses to pay her to go to Florida.

AceShowbiz - In the wake of her husband David Eason killing her dog Nugget, Jenelle Evans has officially been fired from "Teen Mom 2". MTV announced the removal on Tuesday, May 7 in a statement.

"MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of 'Teen Mom 2' with him since," a spokesperson for the network said. "Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season."

According to TMZ, MTV executives told Jenelle's manager that David shooting Nugget to death was the last straw. They allegedly feared he was out of control and wanted no part in what they saw as a looming disaster.

The firing arrives after reports of Jenelle begging the network to let her film with co-star Briana DeJesus in Florida. "She begged MTV to let her film with Briana again in Florida and they shut her down," said a source previously.

The source went on revealing that "Jenelle was told that MTV would not pay for her to go to Florida and they weren't filming her with Briana." The source added, "Jenelle was worried that she was getting fired when she had no filming scheduled."

Jenelle previously revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram post that her French bulldog died. She later explained in an interview that David shot Nugget to death, while David reasoned that he did the horrible thing because the dog snapped at his and Jenelle's 2-year-old daughter Ensley.

"I don't give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face.. whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don't put up with that s**t at all," he wrote on Instagram. "Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me."

The controversy reportedly cost MTV some advertisers, including Chipotle, Dove Chocolate and TWIX. Persil ProClean and Greenies (dental care treats for dogs) also pulled out from running its advertisements while "Teen Mom 2" aired.

Previous report said that Jenelle's firing from the show was in talks when it was revealed that David killed Nugget after the dog allegedly hurt his and Jenelle's daughter Ensley. It was also reported that David is under ongoing investigation by Animal Control and Child Protective Services after someone called the Columbus County Department of Social Services in North Carolina, alleging the children in the couple's home could be in danger.

The caller believed the children, including the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, and the MTV star's two sons from previous relationships, Jace, 9, and Kaiser, 4, could develop PTSD, depression or other mental health problems. However, Jenelle's rep denied that they are under investigation.
