The 'I Feel Pretty' star reveals she and her husband Chris Fischer are expecting a baby boy through an Instagram post, in which she urges people to boycott the fast-food chain.

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer has revealed the sex of her first child with Chris Fischer. Putting a social issue on top of her personal life, the 37-year-old comedian inserted the gender reveal in an Instagram post, in which she slammed fast-food chain Wendy's for not protecting female workers from sexual violence.

"Hey! We love @chancetherapper and hate to be the ones to tell him that Wendys is the only fast food chain refusing to protect farmworker women from sexual assault and rape in the fields," she posted on Sunday, May 5 along with a photo of her and her husband Chris in her pediatrician's office. "This is true. Please read that sentence again."

She urged people to boycott Wendy's, adding, "Message for the people in charge: Instead of spicy nuggets, we want food that is harvested with dignity NOT violence. Please join the @fairfoodprogram and #BoycottWendys link in my bio of how you can help." The "Trainwreck" actress casually revealed the baby's gender as she concluded the message, "Also we are having a boy."

Amy's post was in response to a tweet from Chance the Rapper on Sunday, in which he launched a campaign to bring back Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets. "Positive Affirmations for today: I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy's WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today," the rapper wrote on Twitter.

Amy made the gender reveal just two days after confirming that she's still pregnant. Showing her baby bump in a picture during one of her doctor's appointments, she wrote, "Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I've been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I'm still pregnant Well imagine how I feel mother f***ers!!!!!! #soblessed #hatemondaysloveweekendstho."

She previously said that she and Chris "don't care what the gender is," as long as it's healthy. "What I wanted to announce was the baby's gender. We're so excited to say that we don't care what the gender is," she said in a Twitter video in February. "However the baby identifies is fine. Whatever the baby's sexuality is, any way the baby identifies is cool with us. As long as it doesn't identify as a DJ, 'cause that's heartbreaking."

The baby will be Amy's first child with her chef husband Chris, whom she married on February 13, 2018 in Malibu, California.
