Other honorees to be celebrated at the benefit gala on June 12 include 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' actress Elizabeth Debicki and and film producer Cathy Schulman.

AceShowbiz - Comedy stars Amy Poehler and Issa Rae have been named among the honourees at the 2019 Women in Film Annual Gala.

"Inside Out (2015)"'s Poehler will receive the Entrepreneur in Entertainment Award, while "Insecure" funnywoman Rae will be presented with the Emerging Entrepreneur Award at the annual Women in Film Los Angeles event, formerly known as the Crystal + Lucy Awards.

Also feted will be "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" actress Elizabeth Debicki, who will pick up the previously announced Max Mara Face of the Future Award, and film producer Cathy Schulman, who previously served as the Women in Film board president for 18 years until last year (18). She will be praised with The Crystal Award for Advocacy in Entertainment.

The benefit gala, which supports the organisation's educational and philanthropic efforts to promote gender parity throughout the entertainment industry, will take place at the Beverly Hilton in California on 12 June.

"Captain Marvel"'s Brie Larson and "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress Alexandra Shipp were among those saluted at the 2018 event.
