After many fans questioned whether she has gone under the knife to get a wrinkle-free face, the 'Will and Grace' star returns to social media to offer some clarification about her fresher appearance.

AceShowbiz - Debra Messing is denying she's had plastic surgery after fans questioned a recent Instagram image of her new look.

The "Will & Grace" star took to the photo sharing site on Tuesday, April 30, to share a close-up of herself looking glamorous for the 2019 DoSomething charity gala. The event served as a celebration of those making an impact - and Messing was named an Empower Player for her activism surrounding social justice and LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) issues.

"Thank you @dosomething for the extraordinary honor of being named one of your 2019 Empower Players," Messing captioned the image. "I am committed to supporting all efforts by the countless activists who fight daily to make our world healthier, safer, and more equitable."

But many fans ignored her uplifting message and focused on the 50-year-old's wrinkle-free face, suggesting she may have gone under the knife.

"Who is this woman? No resemblance to Grace (Messing's character on 'Will & Grac')," one commenter wrote. "Not good!" And another asked, "New nose? Botox overload. Maybe less fillers... starting to look plastic", while a third was even more blunt, asking, "Did you have a face-lift?"

Messing eventually returned to social media to shut down the chatter and assure followers and fans she had not gone under the knife.

She credited her celebrity aesthetician Joanna Vargas' facials for her fresher appearance.

"Getting tons of facials at @joannavargasnyc and using every gadget on the market!" Debra explained.

She also gave a shout out to her makeup artist, Rebecca Restrepo, who gave her a "French eye" for her night out at the DoSomething gala.
